New Chapter with 50% House Vacancy

The Problem

The chapter was struggling to effectively recruit members, thus creating a situation where the alumni had purchased a house twice the size of the chapter membership.  Running the facility at a deficit was clearly not a viable option, so the chapter needed to quickly recruit more members without sacrificing the quality of their existing chapter.

The Solution

In the words of their Chapter President, “We recruited guys who were already leaders on campus and those who we see becoming leaders. Our chapter let the quality of the men and our relationships with them drive our recruitment, not a quota of men we needed to hit.”

The Results

The chapter was able to double in size the semester that LaunchPoint began working with them and ultimately filled their chapter house, didn’t sacrifice quality as they grew, got chartered and have a proven recruitment model in place that can be used for years to come.
